Location: Belen, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem as scheduled, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
- Perform timely and accurate vital signs and reporting to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
- Document care clearly and maintain accurate resident records
- Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge
- Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff
- Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person centered care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification or equivalent credential
- Current basic CPR or BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
- Comfortable assisting with lifts and transfers and performing physical aspects of resident care
- Prior experience in long term care or similar setting preferred but compassionate candidates are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of activities of daily living and basic nursing care
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
- Knowledge of infection control principles and safe patient handling
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
