Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an inpatient rehab setting
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize recovery
• Document patient care thoroughly and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and families to support rehabilitation goals and safe transitions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico, or eligibility for state licensure/compact licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation is preferred
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical decision making
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
• Proficient in documentation and care coordination
• Knowledge of rehabilitation principles and goal-oriented care
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
