Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in resident condition accurately and promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team about resident needs and care plans
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable and dignified environment for each resident
• Engage residents in respectful conversation and meaningful activities to promote well-being

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred but new grads with strong training are welcome
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Clear background check and TB testing as required by facility
• Friendly, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills including ADLs and mobility assistance
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection control and proper use of PPE
• Good teamwork, communication, and the ability to follow care plans
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
