Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding and ambulation
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and changes in condition accurately and promptly
• Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and positioning, following facility protocols
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and the care team to promote excellent patient experiences
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
• Assist with meal service and ensure patients receive appropriate nourishment and hydration

Qualifications

• Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
• Comfortable working extended day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and standing for long periods
• Local candidates only (position designated as LOCAL ONLY)

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Basic clinical documentation and charting accuracy
• Reliable time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and a commitment to patient dignity
