Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (CNA - Acute); exact start/end times and days to be confirmed by facility

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care setting, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility and positioning
Support infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, patient-centered care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Experience or comfort working in an acute care environment preferred
State-required immunizations and health screenings as applicable
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, patient hygiene
Familiarity with acute care workflows and safety protocols
Ability to observe, record and report patient changes accurately
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety best practices
