Shift Type: 3x 12hr shifts - Days

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate direct and indirect patient care as a vital team member
Administer medications and provide essential patient education
Document daily care meticulously to ensure top-notch outcomes
Monitor and manage behaviors on the inpatient unit with skill and empathy
Lead engaging education groups to empower patients
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support children and adolescents aged 6-18
Float to Chemical Dependency/Detox units as needed to make a broader impact

Qualifications

Valid State of Maine RN license
BLS certification
CPI Trained
At least 1 year previous nursing experience, with 1-3 years working with adults preferred

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing required

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and coworkers
Skill in handling stressful situations and managing stress appropriately
Strong professional boundaries and dedication as a team player
Self-directed with the ability to stay productive during downtime
