Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop timely care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate EMR/charting
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize outcomes
• Respond to emergent situations and prioritize care in a fast-paced setting
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing and continuity of care
• Support weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certs like ACLS/PALS a plus
• Comfortable working nights and providing dependable weekend coverage
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in acute situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient advocacy mindset
• Prior experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar clinical settings preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Diploma in Nursing candidates with relevant experience will be considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Knowledgeable in infection control and safety best practices
• Ability to triage, delegate, and coordinate care across disciplines
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and bedside manner
