Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care during night shifts to patients with a variety of needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while following facility protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely in the charting system
• Respond promptly to patient concerns and emergency situations with calm and competent action
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior acute care or med-surg experience preferred; travel nursing experience a plus
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN or BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Experience with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize care and manage multiple patients safely overnight
• Clear communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and leadership
• Time management, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach
