Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide compassionate personal care while preserving dignity and independence
• Monitor and record resident condition and vital signs accurately and promptly
• Support the nursing team with transfers, positioning, and safe patient handling
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the resident record
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to support care plans
• Contribute to a positive culture by mentoring peers and participating in team activities

Qualifications

• Current LNA or T-LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) as required by the state
• Eligible to work in Vermont and able to meet any VT/NH licensing requirements for the assignment
• Availability for the full assignment period: April 1, 2026 to June 3, 2026
• Comfortable working an evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain if requested by the facility

Education

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and experience with ADLs
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
