Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition, using keen clinical judgment to prioritize care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions
• Document patient information thoroughly in the electronic medical record
• Provide compassionate patient and family education to support recovery and wellness
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate situations with calm, effective action
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with clear communication and organization

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Pennsylvania (or compact privileges where applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS or specialty certifications preferred depending on unit
• Previous acute care or hospital RN experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work night shift schedule (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) reliably

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and bedside nursing skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication with patients and colleagues
