Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and promptly in the resident record
• Assist with meal service and ensure residents receive nutrition and hydration support
• Help create a calm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• GNA certification (required)
• Ability to work the posted shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Comfort working with older adults and supporting their daily needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Available to start ASAP (per order notes)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safe patient handling
• Ability to take and report vital signs and observe clinical changes
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and resident rights
• Compassionate interpersonal skills for working with geriatric populations
