Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote resident mobility
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to keep residents and staff safe
• Contribute to a warm, resident-centered environment that preserves dignity

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - active certification required
• Comfortable working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with resident care

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Clear, professional documentation and communication
• Infection control and safety awareness
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to work well within a care team
