Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while following facility policies and standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Monitor patient status and escalate changes to the care team when appropriate
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and supporting team goals
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted state license appropriate for the role (for example, RN license if applicable)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
- Clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused mindset
- Willingness to work under C2C or W2 engagement terms as indicated
Education
- Associate degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred where applicable
- Related clinical certifications or coursework a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards
