Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes to the care team
- Assist with care planning and follow established care protocols
- Support safe, comfortable living environments and respond to resident needs
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to improve outcomes
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Mexico (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred or must obtain upon hire)
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar settings is a plus
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work the posted shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) reliably
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; HS diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and documentation skills
- Basic assessment of vital signs and clinical changes
- Familiarity with care planning and charting best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
- Time management for busy, multi-resident shifts
