Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that restore function
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home programs and safety to support recovery
- Monitor and adjust interventions based on patient response and goals
Qualifications
- Current state Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain PA licensure
- Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working in a skilled nursing/inpatient rehab environment
- Strong patient communication skills and professional bedside manner
- Available for the full contract assignment dates
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in PT considered with relevant experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to assess mobility, balance, gait, and functional needs
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training
- Competent with clinical documentation and care plan development
- Knowledge of safety standards, fall prevention, and assistive devices
- Team-oriented approach with good time management and organization
