Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately within LPN scope
- Monitor resident condition and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document care, assessments, and interventions clearly and on time
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and families to support resident goals
- Contribute to a positive, respectful culture that prioritizes resident dignity and comfort
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Mexico or eligible to obtain one
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight NOC shifts and providing long term care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate approach and commitment to resident-centered care
Education
- LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Wound care basics and pressure injury prevention
- Vital signs monitoring and clinical assessment
- Electronic health record documentation and charting
- Effective communication with residents, families, and the care team
- Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
