Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in residents physical condition or behavior to nursing staff
- Support safe and comfortable transfers and mobility assistance
- Maintain accurate care documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Help create a positive environment that promotes resident independence and quality of life
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience providing direct hands-on care in long-term care or assisted living settings
- Knowledge of safe transfer and lifting techniques
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Ability to observe and report changes in condition promptly
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
