Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct resident care following facility policies
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful living environment for residents
- Document care and observations accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized resident plans are followed
Qualifications
- Active LNA or T-LNA certification valid in New Hampshire
- Previous experience in long term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift, including every other weekend and some holidays
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing assistant clinical skills and ADL support
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
- Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
- Teamwork mindset and good communication with residents and staff
- Time management skills to handle shift responsibilities efficiently
