Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility with dignity and respect
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention practices on your shift
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff and families to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to work the scheduled night shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
- Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Basic infection control practices and PPE use
- Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance
- Clear communication and teamwork with clinical staff
- Comfortable using electronic documentation or paper charts
