Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress clearly and timely
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Current Washington state Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Clinical competence in outpatient orthopedic and functional rehabilitation
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working PRN or full-time and able to accommodate evening hours if needed
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-education skills
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and progress assessment
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
- Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
- Excellent patient communication and motivational coaching
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
