Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM every weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing with care and precision
Record overnight polysomnographic and video recordings to help diagnose sleep disorders
Coordinate activities with the Sleep Lab Section leader to ensure smooth operations
Administer sleep medications following established policies to support patient comfort

Qualifications

Graduate from an AMA-approved college program or one year experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy
Current unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License required upon submission
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the BRPT
Healthcare Provider BLS certification

Education

Graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved college program or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Skills

Polysomnography techniques and sleep study procedures
PSG recording and video monitoring
Patient communication and coordination with supervisors
Sleep medication administration per policy
