Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
Conduct diagnostic procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and ensure optimal image quality for every patient
Provide exceptional patient care while managing 8-10+ scans per day

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound
Procedure experience required
Vascular ultrasound experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Skilled in General, OBGYN, Vascular, and procedural imaging
Strong attention to detail and patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
