Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Help patients recover strength and mobility after orthopedic injuries and surgeries
Provide specialized upper extremity therapy for shoulders, elbows, and wrists
Treat a variety of conditions including tendonitis, fractures, and post-surgical repairs
Collaborate with rehab aides and the care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Document care using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute settings

Qualifications

Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Hands-on experience in outpatient orthopedics, especially upper extremity therapy
Comfort treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures

Knowledge & Skills

Strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation
Experience with hands, elbows, and shoulders therapy
Ability to manage a caseload of about 12 patients per day
Familiarity with acute inpatient, rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings
Lymphedema training is a plus
