End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across MedSurg and ER settings, adapting quickly to patient needs
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining excellent continuity of care
Titrate critical drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed with precision
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports to support seamless treatment plans
Respond confidently to codes for cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis situations
Float between MedSurg and ER to deliver versatile, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate directly with hospitalists and work independently with minimal staffing support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
ER experience is a must to be considered for this role
Comfortable working independently with minimal staff and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Meditech EMR documentation
Reading and documenting telemetry strips on Mindray monitors
Performing EKGs and interpreting results
Managing swing bed rehab patients and acute MedSurg cases
Following EMTALA regulations and coordinating flight transport when needed
