Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert critical care to neuro and trauma patients in a Level II trauma center
Monitor and manage patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
Float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed to support the team
Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on recovery and next steps with compassion and clarity

Qualifications

Current California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 5 years of acute critical care experience
Previous traveler experience
Level II trauma critical care experience
EPIC charting experience

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking in high-acuity neuro/trauma settings
Comfort managing advanced equipment like ICP monitors and CRRT
Ability to adapt quickly when floating to other units
Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
