Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, orthopedics, and robotics
Collaborate with a tight-knit team that values safety, longevity, and genuine camaraderie
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed, expanding your skill set every shift
Educate and mentor fellow staff while adapting to a dynamic daily surgical schedule
Champion patient safety and quality outcomes in every procedure you touch

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS & ACLS certifications
Proven experience across all surgical service lines with strong neuro background
Comfortable working in a 7-OR facility without specialized teams
Willingness to complete a pass/fail open-book exam during orientation
Driver's license required at submittal to verify 50-mile radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to scrub and circulate across varied case types
Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to removing artificial nails per facility policy
