Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and patient needs
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean and respectful environment for patients and families
• Support meal service and assist with feeding when needed

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in New Mexico (or eligible for state reciprocity)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on a fast-paced care team
• Reliable, punctual and able to work scheduled day shifts

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completed CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic patient care procedures and infection control
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Comfortable with patient transfers and use of assistive devices
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong bedside manner
