Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
- Observe and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
- Accurately document care provided and maintain timely records
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a warm, person-centered experience
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification or state-recognized equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working the posted night shift schedule
- Able to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of personal care techniques and ADL assistance
- Basic infection control and universal precautions
- Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients and staff
