Roles & Responsibilities
- Obtain high-quality radiographic images to help providers make timely patient-care decisions
- Assist the radiologist during imaging procedures and preparations
- Provide clear, compassionate patient education about procedures and safety
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of imaging studies
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure proper equipment function
- Collaborate with clinical teams to facilitate efficient patient flow and care
Qualifications
- Current, valid ARRT registration in good standing
- Current, valid Wyoming Radiology Technologist license in good standing
- BLS certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn new computer software and work independently
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent customer service: friendly, patient, empathetic communication
- Effective verbal and written communication with staff and patients
- Strong organization and time management to prioritize caseload
- Problem solving and ability to work without direct supervision
- Understanding of patient privacy and ethical/legal accountability
