Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate Philips imaging systems to capture high-quality intra-procedural images
- Prepare and maintain the IR suite and specialized equipment for neuro and body procedures
- Perform sterile setup and assist the clinical team during interventional procedures
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the interventional team
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide reliable call coverage for urgent cases
- Document procedures and equipment usage accurately and maintain regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to optimize workflow and patient care
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
- ARRT certification or state equivalent (preferred) and relevant IR certifications
- Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or available for reimbursement
- Minimum 2+ years experience in interventional radiology or related imaging environment preferred
- Experience with Philips imaging equipment and IR procedures
- Ability to perform and cover call cases reliably
Education
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (preferred)
- ARRT or equivalent registration preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with neuro and body interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency with Philips imaging systems and image acquisition
- Strong sterile technique and procedural setup skills
- Patient monitoring and safety during interventional cases
- Clear communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced IR unit
- Familiarity with documentation, infection control, and IR unit workflows
