Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including portable/bedside and C-Arm procedures
• Administer and prepare contrast media safely and follow radiation safety protocols
• Support trauma and pediatric imaging needs with confidence and attention to detail
• Chart exams in Epic and manage imaging workflows using PACS and modality-specific systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in ER, ICU, OR and outpatient settings to provide timely imaging
• Adhere to infection prevention and isolation precautions to keep patients and staff safe
• Contribute to a teaching hospital environment by supporting learning opportunities and best practices

Qualifications

• Current Oregon state radiologic technologist license (required)
• BLS (required)
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(B) certification preferred
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in a large acute care hospital preferred (experience similar to Providence Saint Vincent)
• Comfortable working night shifts and participating in 3 call shifts per month
• Familiarity with Epic charting and PACS workflow preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography and fluoroscopy best practices
• Portable/bedside imaging and C-Arm procedures
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Radiation safety and infection prevention/PPE
• Experience with PACS, GE, Philips and Carestream systems
• Pediatric and trauma imaging experience
• Ability to perform a wide range of exams: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal
