Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams and fluoroscopy procedures with attention to radiation safety
• Chart accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR to ensure clear patient records and continuity of care
• Provide compassionate patient care and positioning, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Support the trauma team in a Level II facility, responding promptly during urgent situations
• Float between outpatient imaging and the main hospital, adapting to varied workflows and patient populations
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Valid Fluoroscopy permit (required)
• Experience charting in EPIC EMR (required)
• Comfort and willingness to float between outpatient imaging and the main hospital (required)
• At least 2 years of acute care radiology experience (desired)
• Previous successful completion of travel assignments (desired)
• Ability to work night shift hours and function effectively on a trauma team

Education

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) - State of California

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography and diagnostic X-ray techniques
• Fluoroscopy procedures and radiation safety
• EPIC EMR charting and electronic documentation
• Patient care, positioning, and communication
• Trauma imaging workflow and acute care best practices
