Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate emergency care to 25 patients daily in a Level 3 Trauma Center
- Manage 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratios with acuity-based precision
- Interpret telemetry strips and perform point-of-care lab testing
- Administer standard ER drips and treatments for conditions like trauma, stroke, and NSTEMI
- Collaborate with techs, RT, and charge nurse to ensure seamless patient flow
- Triage and support diverse cases from abdominal pain to pneumonia
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience
- Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
Education
- RN licensure required, BSN preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ER/ED high-acuity care
- Telemetry interpretation without monitor tech support
- Handling common ER drips and point-of-care labs
- Team collaboration in fast-paced trauma environment
