Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and life support interventions as an RRT to adult and pediatric patients
• Manage ventilators and perform mechanical ventilation adjustments and troubleshooting
• Deliver oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and other airway management procedures
• Perform patient assessments, monitor respiratory status, and document changes in condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in code response and emergency airway management with composure and expertise
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans, device use, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (explicit specialty listed)
• ACLS and BLS required (must-have per job posting)
• NRP and PALS required for pediatric positions (listed as must-have for pediatrics)
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (explicit in job posting)
• Comfort with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments

Education

• Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program and RRT credential (explicit specialty RRT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and mechanical ventilation expertise
• Oxygen therapy delivery and titration
• Nebulizer therapy and airway clearance techniques
• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills for respiratory patients
• Experience or comfort working in ICU, NICU, or PICU settings (preferred)
• Ability to respond to codes and participate in emergency airway management
• Effective teamwork and clear clinical documentation
