Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and collect comprehensive data to drive excellent care
• Analyze assessment findings and determine appropriate nursing diagnoses
• Develop individualized plans of care with clear, attainable outcomes
• Implement and manage the plan of care, adjusting as patient needs change
• Provide patient and family education to promote health and recovery
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and maintain clinical competency
• Promote a safe environment and employ strategies that enhance patient safety
• Participate in quality improvement activities to strengthen clinical practice
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to professional development of the team
• Respond professionally and compassionately in high stress or emergency situations

Qualifications

• Current Montana Registered Nurse license required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Experience in pre-hospital care such as Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, or EMS is a strong plus
• Experience in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, outpatient or walk-in clinic settings preferred
• Comfortable using Electronic Health Records and general computer systems
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and after-hours when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and professional demeanor
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment under pressure
