Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed to support the team
Precept new staff and share your expertise when the unit needs you
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate CABGs and craniotomies
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Strong references and a track record of reliability

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgery cases
Comfortable with DaVinci and Mako robotic platforms
Ability to handle trauma, total joints, and complex spine procedures
Skilled in floating between two nearby campuses
Ready to precept and support colleagues as needed
