Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No double backs, nights not required. Rotating holidays but no holidays during this contract.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
Restock Pyxis machines on nursing units and procedural areas
Utilize Epic system for accurate medication management
Restock code trays and emergency kits to support rapid response
Answer phones and handle medication messages with care
Maintain medication dispensing systems including Pyxis and main pharmacy carousel

Qualifications

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
PTCB Certification required
Sterile compounding experience required
Epic experience required
Pyxis experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Epic electronic health record system
Pyxis medication dispensing system
Inpatient pharmacy operations
Medication restocking and inventory management
