Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Renal, Ortho, and Trauma
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient care needs and fill scheduling gaps
Monitor and titrate Heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with designated Charge Nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes
Adapt quickly to various units ranging from General MS-Tele to specialized care areas
Support adult and geriatric patients through post-surgical recovery, medical management, and stable long-term placement

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to different facility needs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across diverse patient populations
Experience with cardiac monitoring, neuro assessments, and post-surgical care
Comfortable floating between ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and fill scheduling gaps as needed
