Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions
Monitor patients during 24-48 hour Trend EEGs and respond to subtle changes
Perform thorough neuro assessments and detect early warning signs
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including hospitalists and intensivists
Float to Med-Surg/Tele units and support sister campuses as needed
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and uphold the highest safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
BSN preferred; Certified Med-Surg/Tele preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro assessment and cranial nerve evaluation
Epilepsy monitoring and Trend EEG interpretation
Med-Surg and Telemetry experience
Bipap management and ventilator support awareness
Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
