Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety
Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin with precision and care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless bedside reports and coordinated care
Float to other telemetry units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience required
Neuro experience highly preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to 2 attempts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
Competent in sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Comfortable caring for trached patients and managing complex neuro cases
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
