Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data to keep patients safe
• Assess and manage dysrhythmias, initiating appropriate interventions per protocol
• Perform IV starts and provide hands-on MedSurg nursing care for adult patients
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and support the team during critical events
• Document accurately and timely in Epic to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-focused plans
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge readiness
• Float between units as needed while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

• 3 years of MedSurg experience required (explicitly stated)
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Epic experience required
• Skills required: IV start, telemetry (cardiac monitoring)
• Proven ability in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Emergency response skills and comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Travel experience preferred (not required)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required per facility guideline
