Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across assigned patients
• Assess, monitor and document patient conditions and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and charting in the EHR
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Support a positive work environment by mentoring peers and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications as required by unit
• Clinical experience in acute care preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a care team
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; diploma-trained RNs considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Infection control and patient safety best practices
• Patient and family education techniques
• Critical thinking and effective prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork, professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
