Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ER environment
Initiate and manage emergent interventions to stabilize patients
Administer medications and therapies safely, following protocols and physician orders
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver seamless care
Document patient status, interventions, and handoffs clearly in the EMR
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and follow-up
Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Previous Emergency Room or urgent care experience preferred
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a hectic clinical setting
Ability to work per diem shifts, including the scheduled date of March 13, 2026

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and rapid assessment skills
Proficient with IV starts, medication administration, and emergency procedures
Familiarity with common ER equipment and monitors
Effective communication and teamwork under pressure
Accurate, timely EMR charting and documentation
Clinical judgment for prioritizing care in busy settings
