Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
• Position patients and operate radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Ensure proper radiation safety practices and compliance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnoses
• Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation and equipment logs
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical services as needed
• Provide compassionate patient education before, during and after procedures

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification or state equivalent (preferred)
• Active state radiologic technologist license as required by the facility
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous radiology technologist experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to work effectively on a rotating schedule

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography, or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Strong communication skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
