Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations with care and precision
• Operate imaging equipment safely while following radiation safety protocols
• Position patients appropriately and provide clear, compassionate instructions
• Review images for technical quality and ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists and clinical staff to support patient care
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory and facility policies
• Assist with routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

• Valid Radiologic Technologist licensure as required by the state (LA)
• ARRT certification preferred or registry-eligible candidates welcome to apply
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program; registry-eligible candidates considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and infection control practices
• Experience with PACS/DICOM and basic image management workflows
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing diagnostic-quality images
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients of all ages and clinical teams
