Roles & Responsibilities

• Support neurointerventional procedures by setting up and operating fluoroscopy and cath lab equipment
• Prepare patients and assist the interventional team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Operate and optimize Siemens Artis Icono 2.0 Biplane imaging systems during cases
• Monitor patient status and provide timely, accurate documentation in Meditech and MergeHemo
• Maintain radiation safety practices and ensure sterile technique in the suite
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and techs to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical or vendor support as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement of unit protocols and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year experience (as listed) — Interventional Radiology or Neuro IR experience preferred
• Familiarity with cath lab procedures such as thrombectomy, embolization, cerebral interventions
• Comfortable using Siemens Artis imaging systems and EMRs like Meditech and MergeHemo
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-safety mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety best practices
• Neuro interventional and cath lab procedural workflow
• Patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, and procedure preparation
• Proficiency documenting clinical events in Meditech and MergeHemo
• Ability to anticipate clinician needs and act proactively during procedures
• Calm problem-solving under pressure and clear interdisciplinary communication
