Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures accurately and safely, producing high-quality images
• Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure patient and staff protection
• Prepare patients for imaging, explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate care
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment with attention to detail
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation in PACS and electronic systems
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay current with best practices

Qualifications

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent required/preferred
• Valid state licensure in Missouri or ability to obtain licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Previous experience in diagnostic radiography preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
• Comfortable working with pediatric and adult patients and adapting to varied clinical needs
• Pass background check and meet facility immunization and health requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or certificate preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with diagnostic X-ray equipment and image acquisition
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
• Strong patient positioning and radiation safety knowledge
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
• Ability to follow protocol and adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
