Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients thoroughly and create individualized treatment plans that restore function and improve quality of life
• Deliver therapeutic exercise programs and use modalities thoughtfully to progress patient recovery
• Lead functional activities and endurance training to help patients regain independence
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document assessments and progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies to maintain gains after discharge
• Adapt interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and complex-medical presentations with clinical judgment and compassion

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited program (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required); Master's degree in Physical Therapy preferred
• Current and valid New Hampshire Physical Therapy license (required) — Compact allowed
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Experience or interest in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation preferred
• Comfort working with complex-medical cases across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required)
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)

• Patient evaluation and skilled clinical reasoning
• Treatment planning tailored to individual goals
• Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
• Use of therapeutic modalities to enhance recovery
• Design and implementation of functional activity training
• Restoration of strength, range of motion, and endurance
• Ability to manage complex-medical and multi-diagnosis patients
