Location: Red Bluff, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques
Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate documentation in line with clinic and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Hold an active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Outpatient experience preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in implementing physical therapy treatment plans
Patient-centered care and education
Effective communication and teamwork
Knowledge of rehab techniques and safety protocols
