Material Handler - Warehouse Operations

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (flexible end time), with Saturday and one weekday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Accurately fulfill customer orders by receiving, stocking, and selecting products
Route completed orders to the appropriate trailer and maintain inventory accuracy
Operate computers and warehouse systems to track product movement
Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and using PPE
Collaborate with team members to meet department and health system goals
Handle lot-controlled and expiration-dated products with precision

Qualifications

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and repetitively
Mathematical ability to count accurately and follow written instructions
Comfortable working long hours in a warehouse environment
Basic computer and keyboard proficiency
Prior warehouse experience preferred (1-2 years)
Forklift operation and pallet jack skills a plus

Education

High School diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Inventory management and order fulfillment processes
Warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferred
Lot control and expiration date product handling
Safe operation of forklift and rider pallet jacks
Ability to manage multiple complex instructions simultaneously
